Governance
Our aim is to provide our members with the necessary support to deliver the highest standard of care in respiratory and sleep physiology and science.
The ARTP is an incorporated charity governed by its Articles of Association. It is governed by a President and Board of Trustees who comprise the Council. The Trustees are also the Company Directors.
The work of the Association is directed and run by the Executive Committee and through sub-committees covering its key areas of focus, namely Education, Standards, Communications, Workforce, Sleep, Paediatrics, Events, ED&I and spirometry. The Board and its committees are supported by the administrative team at Executive Business Support.
Membership of the Association is open to everyone associated with respiratory and sleep physiology including physiologists, clinical scientists, nurses, physiotherapists, medical staff and managerial, sales and technical staff. Members are required to subscribe to the Association's Rules and Code of Professional Conduct.
