Unregistered - someone who is not registered with the ACS, AHCS, HCPC & RCCP
Overseas - someone who is employed in Respiratory and/or Sleep Physiology, or an allied discipline, or has an interest in Respiratory/Sleep Physiology outside of the UK.

Full Member + Certified Spirometry Practitioner Member (with Voting Rights)
Those on the ARTP Spirometry Register are entitled to free ARTP Membership without voting rights, however should an individual wish to upgrade their free membership to include voting rights, they may pay £25 to upgrade. Membership in this context allows the individual to become a committee member and be a part of shaping the organisation. |

Concessionary Member

A Concessionary Member includes:
STP Student - must be enrolled on the Scientist Training Programme.
PTP Student - must be enrolled in a Practitioner Training Programme or a 4 year BSC (Hons) Clinical Physiology degree in either respiratory physiology, sleep or cardiology.
Apprentice - must be currently enrolled on a Level 2 or 4 apprenticeship programme in Respiratory/Sleep.
Retired - for current members who wish to change their membership due to retiring.
Band 4 & Under - must be employed as an assistant/associate healthcare scientist in Respiratory and/or Sleep on Band 2, 3 or 4.
