ARTP Committee Vacancies - Regional Group Leaders wanted

ARTP is recruiting and would love to hear from enthusiastic and motivated members who wish to become an active part of driving committee activity forward, and in turn help ARTP continue to expand their presence within respiratory and sleep physiology.

The ARTP regional network encourages departments to meet locally to discuss issues that are of common concern. ARTP are looking to appoint a number of ARTP Regional Group Leaders, to help drive regional activity forward.

The ARTP Regional Group Leaders will encourage ARTP members working within their region to meet at least twice a year. The meetings can be to discuss anything and are aimed at encouraging people from working in silo’s, to discuss pertinent issues, and as a group resolve issues at a local level. It is also an additional tool to the ARTP Forum.

Any queries or issues to raise further would be collated by the Regional Group Leader, who oversees all regional group activity, and reported to the Regional Group Co-ordinator and the ARTP Executive Board, for further assistance or response.

It is anticipated that Regional Group Leaders would organise a minimum of 2 meetings per year, which can take place either face to face or online. The time required to fulfill this post would be no more than 4 hours per year.

We are currently looking to recruit Regional Group Leaders for the following regions:
 - East Midlands
 - East of England
 - Northern Ireland
 - Scotland
 - West Midlands

Responsibilities of the role:
 - Organise regular meetings within your region - this can be online or face to face.
 - Provide minutes of the meeting to the Regional Groups Co-ordinator.
 - Liaise with the Regional Groups Co-ordinator regarding any issues or queries within the region that require assistance from the ARTP Executive Board.
 - To disseminate the redacted ARTP Executive Board meeting minutes to your regional group.
