ARTP Spirometry Programme Announcement

ARTP and ICST want to make you aware of important upcoming restructuring within the ARTP Spirometry Programme provision.

ARTP, supported by ICST, have been successfully delivering the ARTP Spirometry Certification programme since March 2018 and ICST will now be handing back the co-delivery of this to the ARTP with effect from 1st April 2020.

Why are we changing things?

As part of their long-term plans, ARTP & ICST have taken the decision to revise how spirometry training and assessment are delivered. Working with stakeholder groups, ARTP will be focusing on internally delivering the assessment process.

What does this mean for you?

For candidates already enrolled on a spirometry certificate programme, its business as usual, candidates will continue their learning and/or assessment through the current ARTP/ICST pathway until their successful completion. New candidates who are interested in enrolling for the spirometry certificate can contact ARTP at spirometry@artp.org.uk.

Until the handing back of the certification programme to ARTP alone, ICST will continue to provide the same high levels of support and service as they have delivered previously and will continue to support all candidates that have registered through ICST, until their course or assessment is complete.
