Temporary Pause of ARTP Spirometry Certificate Enrolments – May 2026

We would like to inform you of an upcoming temporary pause in enrolments for the ARTP Spirometry Certificate for May 2026.
 
This pause is to allow time for the introduction of the new Spirometry portfolio and updated standards, ensuring that the changes are implemented clearly for both candidates and training providers.
 
Please note:
This pause does not affect candidates who are already enrolled on the Spirometry Certificate. Current candidates can continue working on their portfolio as normal. However, we are sharing this information with you in case it affects colleagues, trainees, or others you may know who are planning to enrol.
 
To avoid confusion or delays, bookings to enrol for May will be fully closed. This will prevent allowing bookings that would later need to be transferred to June. Following the closure, bookings to enrol for 1st June will open on 1st May 2026.

Please be aware enrolments for 1st April are due to close on 26th March 2026.
 
What this means:

• Bookings to enrol for May 2026 on the ARTP Spirometry Certificate will not be available.
• Prospective candidates should plan to enrol either before May or for June 2026 onwards.
• Training providers may wish to share this information with candidates who may be planning to enrol around this time.

We will send a further communication confirming when the new portfolio goes live, along with details of the updated standards document.
