Free ARTP Membership for those on the Spirometry Register

In 2024/2025, all those who passed their ARTP Spirometry Certificate were automatically granted free ARTP membership for 1 year, with the option to pay to renew after the year was over.

We are delighted to announce that ARTP Membership is now free as part of your annual spirometry certificate renewal. So as long as you remain on the Spirometry Register, your ARTP membership will be free.

Please note that ARTP Membership is completely separate to your ARTP Spirometry Certificate. You will have an ARTP spirometry certificate number and a separate ARTP membership number.

What do I get with ARTP Membership?

Different Log Ins

Please be reminded that your ARTP Membership number is different to your ARTP Spirometry Certificate number.

To log into the ARTP website to view information on your ARTP Membership, you go to www.artp.org.uk

To log into your Spirometry Portal to view your certificate and make your certificate renewal, please use a different link https://spirometry.artp.org.uk/portal

FAQs

I'm already an ARTP member, what do I do?
If you are already a member of the ARTP, you will have automatically been transferred over to our new website and will have received an email to advise of the log in.

What happens if I have already paid for ARTP membership?
Anyone who paid to upgrade their free membership in 2025 (the cost was £42) will have now received their refund for ARTP membership. Please note this is not the same as paying for your certificate renewal and is a different cost.

I received an email to say my membership has lapsed, what next?
If you received an email that your membership has now lapsed, you'll just need to log into the ARTP website (using the password sent) and select your new category 'ARTP Certified Spirometry Practitioner' to reactivate your membership. Please do not apply again.

How to apply for free ARTP membership

If you want to apply for free ARTP membership, all we require is for you to complete a short application form (below) to get yourself set up on the system. Please ensure you select the category ARTP Certified Spirometry Practitioner when applying.

Please note - you will need your ARTP Spirometry Certificate Number as part of the application.

All applications will be checked against the Spirometry Register and it can take up to 5 working days for applications to be accepted.
