MMU - Support for PTP First Year Respiratory placements

Please see email below from the Programme Leader for the PTP Cardiac Science and Respiratory/Sleep programme at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is two respiratory placements short for the PTP First Year placement and we are wondering if anyone is able to help out. 

MMU have exhausted our pool of placement providers in the Northwest region. The units have generously provided what they can but with staff shortages and increasing training requirements and workload across NHS, people have not been able to support this year as superbly as they have done in previous years. MMU was therefore wondering if anyone would be interested in offering a four-week placement over the summer.
 
Below are the dates that are required:
Placement 1:  19/5/25 to 13/6/25
Placement 2:  16/6/25 to 11/7/25
 
As most of the MMU students are based in the Northern part of the UK, it would be great if any respiratory units in the North East, Midlands or North Wales would be in a position to support. We are however happy to send students anywhere that is willing to support a placement. MMU will pay for students’ travel and accommodation but unfortunately, cannot able to offer any payment for the placement itself.
