National Physiological Science Data Collections

Since October 2022, NHS England have collected national data from NHS providers for their physiological science services.

The first cycle of collections has now been completed and they will be repeating these national stocktakes starting from September 2024, beginning with the cardiac, respiratory and sleep service collections.

The collection will be open from Monday 16th September – Friday 11th October and will focus on data from the month of July 2024.

As part of the diagnostics service transformation, the data collected through these surveys will underpin local and national transformation programmes for physiological sciences. Please ensure that all Heads of Service are aware of this pending data collection.
