The aims are to:
Reduce variation in Ordering Home Oxygen Therapy and Follow-up of patients
Support both the learning and training in Home Oxygen Therapy as detailed in the BTS Standards documents
The course is aimed at all members of the multi-professional team (Medical, Nursing, Health Care Science) involved in the care of patients who may require home oxygen and wish to extend their skills to effectively order home oxygen therapy and ensure follow-up is in accordance with the BTS standards.
