Target Audience
Qualified Healthcare Professionals, including Nurses, Physiotherapists and Healthcare Scientists. Delegates should have previous experience of working in a home ventilation service, critical care or respiratory support unit.
Aim and Objectives
The course aims to provide delegates with the underpinning knowledge, practical experience and pitfalls of running both acute and home non-invasive ventilation services. This course is aimed at all practitioners from AfC Band 5 upwards who are involved in the delivery of NIV services both within the acute and/or the home setting.
The course will be delivered over two days covering the Basic Principles (Day 1) and Complex Patients (Day 2), and delegates may attend either of the days or both days.
The last course was held on the 4th and 5th September 2025 in Coventry.
