Aim
This course is aimed at advanced level clinicians involved in the clinical interpretation of pulmonary function tests.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
• Understand the physiological changes in pulmonary function parameters that occur as a result of a variety of disease processes
• Interpret lung function test results and write an appropriate clinical report
• Critically analyse lung function test results and relate these findings to support or refute a clinical diagnosis
• Evaluate the limitations of lung function test results and identify where further assessment is required
Course Structure
The two days will be broken down into eight sessions. The topics within each of the sessions will be delivered by a combination of presentations and interactive tutorials and activities.
