Resmed Advanced Settings Clinical Training is a 2-hour virtual session with a member of the Resmed Clinical Team, for healthcare professionals. The session is CPD accredited.
The following topics are covered within the training:
- Restrictive versus obstructive ventilatory defects
- Understanding the respiratory cycle
- Minute ventilation and its relationship to metabolic need
- Advanced settings to improve patient/ventilator synchrony
- Using TiControl chart to set TiMin & TiMax
- Question to ask patients to improve patient/ventilator synchrony
- Case study.
Upon completion of the 2-hour session, attendees will be invited to take a quick test. Successful completion of the test will result in a certificate of attendance being issued.
