IQIPS accreditation for CDCs Webinar by Cardiobase

Getting your Community Diagnostic Centre to IQIPS accreditation — across every reporting site

When a Community Diagnostic Centre becomes operational, its respiratory and sleep diagnostic services are contractually required to achieve IQIPS accreditation — the UKAS scheme for Improving Quality in Physiological Services — within two years. It's the quality mark NHS England, the CQC and commissioners expect, but for teams reporting across multiple locations the hardest part isn't the testing — it's evidencing it consistently. Control documents drift out of sync between sites, training and competency records sit in different places, and equipment calibration traceability has to hold up site by site. These are exactly the gaps that generate mandatory findings at assessment.

In this interactive webinar, Cardiobase CEO Mark Johnson walks respiratory and sleep clinicians through what IQIPS accreditation actually involves, the five quality domains assessors score against, and where multi-site teams most often lose marks. He'll also show how bringing documents, competencies and equipment evidence into one reporting platform keeps every site assessment-ready — and can take several months off the typical 18-month route to accreditation. You'll leave with a clear, practical picture of what "assessment-ready" looks like before UKAS arrives.
