Delegate Terms and Conditions
Course/Training Attendance Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be available for cancellations of paid registration bookings under any circumstances, including where a Purchase Order (PO) number has been supplied or accommodation has been booked, where applicable. Cancellations made more than four weeks before the course date may be eligible for a transfer to a future course, subject to availability and a £30 administration charge. Name changes may be made at any time without charge. ARTP accepts no liability for any costs incurred by delegates if a course venue needs to be changed or a course is cancelled. Where a delegate books a place on a free training event and either fails to attend or does not cancel at least four weeks in advance, a £30 administration charge will apply.
Late Cancellations and Non-Attendance (Paid Courses)
Cancellations received within four weeks of the course date, including non-attendance on the day, will be treated as late cancellations. In these circumstances, no refund or transfer will be permitted, and the full course fee will remain payable.
Exceptional Circumstances
ARTP recognises that, in limited cases, exceptional circumstances, such as acute illness or other unforeseen events, may prevent a delegate from attending a course at short notice. Requests for consideration under exceptional circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are granted at the sole discretion of ARTP. Where an exception is approved, ARTP may offer a deferral to a future course; however, no refunds will be issued. A £30 administration fee will apply and must be paid before the deferred booking is confirmed. Any deferral will be offered as a one-time exception, and the place will be non-transferable to another delegate. The deferred booking must be used within a specified timeframe, typically the next available course date with places available, and all bookings remain subject to availability.
Evidence of Exceptional Circumstances
Where attendance is sponsored by an employer, ARTP reserves the right to request a brief supporting statement from the delegate’s line manager or employer when considering a discretionary exception. This statement should confirm that the delegate was unable to attend due to illness, and no further details will be required. All information provided will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and limited to the minimum necessary to assess the request.
