PROFESSOR MIKE HUGHES
Emeritus Professor of Thoracic Medicine Hammersmith Hospital campus, and the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI), Imperial College, London. Mike Hughes trained with John West, Jere Mead and Moran Campbell, and was a colleague of Neil Pride at Hammersmith Hospital from 1969 to 1996. His clinical and research interests are pulmonary physiology, lung function, gas exchange, the pulmonary circulation and radioisotope studies.
